Institute and Eco-village
One thing that everyone considering a move to Belize should know is that making money here is very difficult. There are strict immigration policies that make it very difficult for foreigners to obtain work permits placing locals in a distinct advantage for what few jobs exist. Foreign owned businesses are also difficult to get started. Once a business is legally created unless its like the vast majority of our GDP, focusing on tourism, there is very little other free market opportunities. However there is a growing market for local cottage industry type products and our eco-village has worked hard to form a legal cooperation that our residents can take advantage of. This affords them to either create and sell their own products or help with those we have in production and are listed below. Please note our other services and feel free to contact us for more information or if we can be of assistance.
